The IX Reach team have just arrived back from another great trip to Waikiki, Hawaii for the annual Pacific Telecoms Council (PTC) event. This year, Andre Taylor, John Hill, Rob Parker and Stephen Wilcox all attended the event on behalf of IX Reach and could be found at the IX Reach booth in the pavilion over the course of the event.
The event was packed with meetings, sessions, tracks and panels and the occasional social! Paul Gampe, IIX’s CTO was a panelist in a topical session on ‘The Business Case for SDN/NFV’ on Tuesday. (To find out more about the panel discussion click here).
The Opening Reception was held on Sunday 17th on the Great Lawn of the Hilton Hawaiian Village and was attended by the IX Reach team. The outdoor space gave beautiful views of the area and provided a great chance for the all attendees to network before the start of their scheduled meetings the following day.
Along with the official socials that were hosted by PTC there were a number of events taking place each evening that provided the chance to relax and unwind after a long day of meetings.
Once again IX Reach had another successful trip to PTC’16 and look forward to heading back to Hawaii for PTC’17!
